The cable is backward compatible with previous USB generations, so you can use it with legacy equipment. 120mA of Power Keeps Your Devices Functioning
The U330-10M-AL works with standard USB 3.0 cables and supports up to 120mA of power to a connected device. A white LED indicates a successful power connection. For power applications stronger than 120mA, you must connect a compatible DC 5V external power supply (sold separately) with a barrel connector of 3.5 x 1.35 x 10 mm (positive pin, negative sleeve).
