Overview

Full-featured, cost-effective 16-channel video encoder AXIS P7216 offers full-featured, efficient integration of analog cameras into an IP-based video surveillance system. It is ideal for large installations, especially where an IP network infrastructure is already in place. AXIS P7216 can be used as a standalone unit or be mounted in a 19" rack. It offers H.264 and Motion JPEG streams in all resolutions up to D1 (720x480 NTSC or 720x576 PAL). A single Ethernet port serves all 16 channels. The encoder offers video motion detection, active tampering alarm and two-way audio with audio detection. It comes with a power supply and has four built-in memory card slots for edge storage.
