Rack Air Removal Unit 100-240V 50/60Hz for NetShelter SX 750mm
Highlights
The "NetworkAIR Air Distribution Unit" is a unique 2U rack-mounted fan tray product that works with an existing precision air conditioning system to deliver cool air to the equipment contained in a rack enclosure. The Air Distribution Unit connects into the raised floor and pulls supply air directly into the enclosure thereby preventing the conditioned air from mixing with warmer room air before it reaches the equipment. In environments without raised floors, the Air Distribution Unit pulls supply air from around the bottom of the enclosure where the air is the coolest. With dual fans, the unit works to eliminate dangerous hot spots by boosting airflow within the enclosure and improves air delivery in poor static pressure areas, solving many of the heat issues today's data center manager faces.
At a Glance
Adjustable mounting frame - The frame can mount on Netshelter SX or VX enclosures and extends to accommodate 42U, 47U or 48U rack heights.
|Ducted Exhaust System - Removes hot air from the data center to prevent re-circulation and eliminate air mixing.
|Fault-tolerant fan system - In the event of a fan failure, the remaining fan(s) will continue to operate.
|Field replaceable components - Fans and electronics module can be readily replaced without uninstalling the unit.
|Increased capacity - Higher rate of heat removal allows more equipment to be installed in each rack.
|LCD display - Alpha-Numeric Display which displays system parameters and alarms.
|Network interface - Provides management by connecting the device directly to the network with a dedicated IP address, avoiding the need for a proxy such as a server. Management is available via Web browser, Telnet or SSH. Notification features inform you of problems as they occur.
|Temperature monitoring - Changes in temperature are reported via the user interface or e-mail.
High-density equipment creates an environment where traditional air distribution methods are often not effective. Densely packed enclosures can cause IT equipment to overheat, resulting in downtime. The ACF402 Air Cooling System captures exhaust heat, returns the warm air to the plenum and eliminates hot spots from the data center.
