The Tripp Lite B140-101 is the perfect solution for those who need to extend a DVI signal over a long distance with a single Cat5 or Cat6 patch cable. The B140-101 can handle any resolution up to 1024 x 768 at up to 100ft, and 1600x1200 up to 50ft.
The installation of the B140-101 is quick and easy: Simply attach Sender unit to your DVI source such as a Computer, attach the Receiver unit to your display, then connect a Cat5e or Cat6 patch cable between the two. The signal will be sent with perfect video quality. Tripp Lite recommends using Shielded cat5 or cat6 wire to get the best quality signal, such as Tripp Lite N105-050-GY or N105-100-GY.
