- How do I get in touch with you?
Click Here (or the
Contact Us link at the bottom of each page) for a directory
of departmental email addresses. The page also contains our mailing address,
list of phone numbers, and business hours. Unlike our Internet-only
competitors, PROVANTAGE employs a full staff of sales and customer service
representatives available by telephone during normal business hours,
Monday through Friday. Call 800-336-1166 from the USA or 330-494-8715
internationally.
- What information does PROVANTAGE typically need when I get in touch with you?
For new shoppers requesting a quote or placing a first time order with a
PROVANTAGE Account Representative, it is helpful to provide a manufacturer
part number or PROVANTAGE part number for the item of interest. These numbers
can be found on our web site. Also, when paying by credit card, please be sure
to provide a billing address that matches the address on file at the credit card
issuing bank. An incorrect address could create delays in processing your order.
For existing customers, it is helpful to have your customer number handy,
especially if you're purchasing for a large organization. Customer records
can also be retrieved via an email address you provided in a previous order.
These are the most efficient ways for the Account Representative to locate
your customer record; however, your name or company name is usually
sufficient to locate your account in our system.
Post sales inquiries should typically include a sales order number,
invoice number or Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. These
numbers are provided to you at the time your order is placed in our system,
when your order is shipped and upon approval of a product return request.
- Does PROVANTAGE provide any pre-sales technical support?
PROVANTAGE lists thousands of products on its web site. It would
be impossible to staff a pre-sales technical support department adequate
enough for supporting so many products and still offer the low prices our
customers presently enjoy when purchasing from PROVANTAGE. Since the
product manufacturers know their products better than we ever could,
we recommend that you visit their web pages for the answers to your
questions. Simply locate the product on our site, then click on the
Manufacturer's Home Page link. You can then locate their technical support
page to find the phone number or email address to where you can ask your
technical questions.

- What address do I use to send back a product?
Once your return request has been processed, you will receive an email from
us which will include your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and
an address to where your return package must be shipped.
